Richie Kihlken is a professional musician (singer/song-writer) who’s been playing weekly shows in and around the St. Louis area since 2004. In that time, he’s gained local and national attention for his unique looping performances. Richie uses a Boss RC-50 sampler to loop a variety of instruments together in order to create something which can’t be duplicated anywhere else in the world. Every single sound that comes out of his speakers is created in real-time without any pre-recordings or dubbing. Every note is organic and created live on stage which makes for a truly spectacular performance.

It takes most musicians years to become proficient on a single instrument. At the age of 25, Richie has managed to master the bass, drums, guitar, keyboard, organ, and harmonica. On top of that, he is the front-man for a self-titled band and entertains on a weekly basis. Kihlken’s shows are genuinely something you must see to believe!

Richie currently lives in sunny Santa Monica, California.
