About

“I like music. When I was seven, a rickety, century-lived, upright piano found its way into our home, and I took it upon myself to begin lessons. From the black and the white keys I digested the fundamentals of music to discover a natural appreciation for playing. As I progressively grounded myself into the world of sound-art, I felt a passion in the making. At the place where everything started as a practical and meticulous process, learning and playing songs that is, I started to see music as personal. Even as a beginner I understood that if you weren’t putting a bit of your own self into the music, then you’re missing the point. This approach and view towards music has resulted in my prospective future in songwriting. Years later, when I learned how to play other instruments, thoughts of a rock n’ roll career were appearing recognizably frequent. As each day of music brought the same dream closer and closer, the once seemingly unattainable was now becoming likely. After a high school life of writing songs linked with the occasional dabbling in short, absent-minded moments of inspirational voyages, my head was softly set in place. I wanted to be a musician.” -Richie

Richie has been playing gigs in and around the St. Louis area, establishing himself as an original cover artist. In other words, a guy who plays unique and original versions of popular cover songs.  The release of his new album, Process Paradox, will help to show his truer identity as an original song writer as well as a great performer. This release will help show the music scene that he will continually have more to offer.
